Para La Mesa: Unique Items at La Neta You Won’t Find Anywhere Else
Lucky you, Summerlin! La Neta Cocina y Lounge is here! One of the most highly anticipated restaurants of the year opens its doors on August 18, 2021.
Authentic and real is the name of the game here. After all, La Neta translates from Spanish for “be real,” and we take that motto seriously!
There’s a lot to love about La Neta — but perhaps one of our most unique features is our Para La Mesa menu. Let’s take a tour of it…
At La Neta Cocina y Lounge, our menu is anything but ordinary. While authenticity and quality rule the school here, we also strive to provide a novel and new experience for our customers.
To that note, we have an extra-special series of offerings that we call “Para La Mesa,” which translates as “for the table.”
There’s a famous chain that claims “when you’re here, you’re family” — at La Neta, we agree with that sentiment but we think our offerings are leagues above what you’d get at a chain establishment!
Paella: If you’ve never tried paella, you’re in for a real treat. It’s a Spanish dish with saffron-scented rice base, featuring proteins and other ingredients cooked and served in a signature large, shallow pan.
Our paella is plenty to feed a crowd, and it’s made with a flavorful mixture of shrimp, calamari, lobster, oysters, white fish, and chorizo with rice.
Taquero Mucho: Bring your appetite! The name of this dish is a playful wordplay on “te quiero mucho,” which roughly means “love you lots.” This hearty dish is pure love, made with chicken, steak, mushroom, mojo shrimp, panela cheese, and escabeche.
WTF: Despite the flippant name, this dish is 100% for real. It’s composed of mulato chili braised beef short ribs, manchego polenta, and crispy onions. Every bite is brimming with succulent flavor!
Pescado: Fish for the whole family! This dish is our pan-fried whole branzino, served with citrus slaw, pickled vegetables, and guacamole.
Cochinita Pibil: A classic! This is a traditional slow-roasted pork dish. Our version is made with achiote braised pork, habanero onions, and chicharron crumble.
Como La Flor: Ready to get fancy? This 40-ounce ribeye from Snake River Farms is served with roasted garlic dust and a bone marrow candle. It’s marbled to perfection and marvelous to eat…
Food simply tastes better when enjoyed in a beautiful setting.
La Neta Cocina y Lounge occupies a generous 5,000+ square foot space in Summerlin, and it’s gorgeously appointed.
Murals made of stained glass are contrasted by industrial details like exposed brick and beams and high, vaulted ceilings.
Pinkies-out details like chandeliers and wall installations make the space feel artistic, but a living tree and living wall art installation keep it rooted in the real world. You’ve got to see this space to believe it!
What’s a great meal without great drinks? We don’t want to find out…
Luckily, the drinks are plentiful, creative, and delicious. Here’s just a peek…
Margaritas, including a house margarita made with Blanco tequila and El Jefe Carajillo, spiced rum, and horchata foam, are featured on the menu — as well as a long list of unexpected yet tantalizing cocktails. Beer and wine and non-alcoholic drinks are also available.
We hope you’ll bring your favorite crew to share in our Para La Mesa Menu very soon!
