La Neta is a Ryan Labbe creation. Labbe has become an icon in Las Vegas in his decade in the city, having taken a part in designing and managing several of the top venues in town. Most recently, he opened the much-talked-about Chinatown speakeasy, Más Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila.
Along with his company, 81/82 Group, Labbe’s vision now comes to Summerlin through La Neta Cocina y Lounge.
Serving unique and traditional takes on Mexican cuisine with an extensive drink menu, La Neta is destination-worthy for the food and drink alone. But the gorgeous setting makes it a truly enjoyable place to spend time with others.
The first thing people notice when they arrive at an event? Their surroundings. La Neta gives guests an opportunity to feast with their eyes before they take a bite or sip of anything else.
The generous 5,000+ square foot space is decked out from floor to ceiling with an eclectic mix of organic, luxurious, and industrial chic decor.
Warm exposed brick and exposed beams are contrasted with luxe furniture and chandeliers. But wait, there’s more…
La Neta is a living, breathing setting — literally. A living tree creates a unique centerpiece in the dining room, and a living art wall installation rounds out the space. Seeing is believing…
In a space like this, the food can’t be average. To create a menu befitting the space, Labbe worked with two veteran food figures in Vegas: Israel Castro and Lanny Chin.
Together, they designed a menu featuring traditional Mexican dishes like cochinita pibil with a modern spin. In this case, it’s made with braised, slow-roasted pork featuring habanero onions and chicharron.
That’s just one example — every item on the menu has a special touch that makes it just a little different. Guests will be talking about the food for weeks to come…
Let’s face it: without drinks, it’s not a party, it’s just a meeting. La Neta has an epic drink menu featuring margaritas, craft cocktails, mezcal, spirits, and beer and wine.
