Great news: La Neta Cocina y Lounge has arrived! The most talked-about new restaurant in Summerlin is finally open for business.
You’ve probably heard a thing or two about our new establishment — but we bet there are a few things you don’t know!
Here are five interesting tidbits you might not know about La Neta (but should)…
The 81/82 Group and Ryan Labbe may not be familiar names … But you’re probably familiar with their work.
Ryan Labbe, the man behind the company, is considered a nightlife and restaurant impresario in Sin City.
Originally from Rhode Island, Labbe arrived in Vegas in 2011. Since then, he’s made a name for himself working with big groups like The Light Group and Clique Hospitality.
He’s known for making great things happen in Vegas. He was the driving force behind Chinatown speakeasy Más Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila, and now he’s bringing his vision to Summerlin.
La Neta Cocina y Lounge is all about traditional and unique takes on Mexican cuisine — of course, complete with a robust menu of cocktails, margaritas, mezcal, and more.
You’ve never seen a restaurant space quite like this.
Within its generous 5,000+ square foot Summerlin space, La Neta holds many surprises.
The decor is stylish, to be sure: industrial details like exposed brick and beams and vaulted ceilings are pleasingly contrasted by murals made of stained glass and beautiful chandeliers.
But what’s really going to wow you is the living stuff. We’ve got a live tree in the dining room, as well as living art wall installations. You won’t believe what’s growing in here…
Tradition meets innovation on the menu at La Neta.
The menu is reverent to the traditions of Mexico, and includes a number of classic dishes prepared with care and reverence.
However, there’s always a creative twist…
For instance, the Para La Mesa menu features large-scale dishes suitable for family style eating. You won’t want to miss the Cochinita Pibil, featuring slow-cooked achiote braised pork, habanero onions, and chicharron crumble.
Our Especiales include a variety of creative takes on classic dishes, like our Lobster Enchiladas — where succulent lobster meat lives in delicious matrimony with chipotle cream, avocado, and queso fresco.
You’ve never seen a cocktail menu like La Neta’s.
Our Roses Are Red cocktail is pretty in pink: it’s made with Chandon Rosé Champagne, gin, raspberry sorbet, fresh lemon, and violet syrup.I
The exotic Maria Se Volvio Loca is a masterpiece made with silver tequila, fresh lime, and. El Coco Lopez. It’s served “Mexico City style”…
Or, maybe you want to pack some heat with the El Diablo. This fiery cocktail is made with blanco tequila, fresh lime, orange, watermelon, fire bitters, and cilantro.
